Was accommodated in the elegant bar around the New Year's swim. Extremely friendly staff, elegant atmosphere. I would love to come back to get to know the hotel better. 5 *****

After a massive modern extension, the castle has lost the charm of the original castle. The area is no longer open to the public, but only to hotel guests. The street in front of the hotel is busy and full of cars

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Peinlich! Wurden am Vortag nicht ins Land gelassen und Hotel besteht auf Zahlung des kompletten Aufenthalts! Scheinen extrem in Nöten zu stecken, dass sie das Geld so brauchen. Hoffentlich gibts bald nen neuen Betreiber/Personal.
Embarrassing! Were not allowed into the country the day before and the hotel insists on payment for the entire stay! Seem to be extremely distressed that they need the money so much. Hopefully there will be a new operator / staff soon.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Velden fanden wir sehr schön. Aber hier wird zur Corona Zeit, kein Abstand gehalten, kein Mund Nasen Schutz getragen und die Leute wimmeln wie Ameise durch Straßen und Läden. Hat uns schon sehr gestört!!! Sind deswegen nur kurz dort gewesen!!!
We thought Velden was very beautiful. But here at Corona time, no distance is kept, no mouth, nose protection is worn and people swarm like ants through streets and shops. Has bothered us a lot! That is why we were only there for a short time!
