★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent little bakery very close to the Vienna aquarium: Haus des Meeres. The business model is great! You can order anything from the counter, which includes cakes, pastries, Danish, krapfen, etc and eat it in site with a lovely cup of coffee in real china. That solves breakfast or provides a snack to keep sightseeing.
The shop is staffed with only one person, who will serve you, very politely. It's good form to return the tray with your cup, and plate to the lady, to help her out. Again: she's the only one there to serve the busy Bakery counter, but will also give you coffee to stay or to go.
I so wish this were normal in North America!
