 A place of remembrance. But also a place for constant reminders. Because democracy, the constitution and freedom of association cannot be taken for granted. And right now we see how fragile they are.

The Karl Marx-Hof is THE symbol of the red Vienna of the interwar period. The memorial plaque was unveiled on October 17, 1964 and commemorates the struggle of the Schutzbund against the government of Engelbert Dollfuss. They fought for freedom and democracy. Never forget! ? ✊?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sehr gepflegter kleiner Park. Viele Bänke zum Sonnenbaden, aber auch genug Schattenplätze, wenn es mal richtig heiß ist. Große Grünflächen zum liegen geeignet.
Very well-kept small park. Lots of benches for sunbathing, but also enough shady spots when it's really hot. Large green areas suitable for lying down.
