Spontaneous stop at "Zum Waldhof". Dirty and rustic house with a mountain hut flair. The friendliest hosts and excellent food.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nach einem gemütlichen Wandertag rund um die Burg Seebenstein, sind wir hier spontan eingekehrt.
Der Gastgarten war sehr gemütlich und nett organisiert. Das Personal war freundlich und flott. Das Essen war offensichtlich frisch zubereitet und nichts aus der Dose. Angerichtet wurde es auch für das ästhetische Auge ;)
Geschmacklich war es auch am Punkt.
Das Restaurant ist jedenfalls zu empfehlen und einen Besuch wert.
After a leisurely day of hiking around Seebenstein Castle, we stopped here spontaneously.
The outdoor dining area was very cozy and nicely organized. The staff was friendly and brisk. The food was obviously freshly made and nothing out of the can. It was also prepared for the aesthetic eye;)
In terms of taste, it was also on point.
The restaurant is definitely recommended and worth a visit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A nice little restaurant with original Austrian Vintage look, that takes you back way into the past. A small choice of menu but excellent. They also have a private hall for a small private party. Service is friendly. Price is reasonable. I can only recommend this place.
