However, no currywurst but a good wurst served with mustard, ketchup and a slice of bread...and, of course, a beer; for a very reasonable price Ideal when you are desperately looking for something to eat late at night. Many thanks Rene! I will be back and hope to get your famous currywurst! All the best.

Lovely place to eat and no wonder he has cameras in the booth as he surely has the best hot dogs in town. There's 6 levels of spices, I ended on level 2 but enjoyed the sausages and memorable experience !

Rather than catering the run of the mill sausages and quality, the owner (a true original) loves his job and places his focus on very high quality. Taste is impeccable, and the “scharf” (hot) option comes with the broad variety of chili powders that can be added to the sauces and mustards. For me, it’s a must have when in Vienna. Even the Currywurst, though based on a completely different kind of sausage than in the Ruhrgebiet or Berlin, is quite good.
