Very cozy, great view for hiking about 1. Hour + from Virgen town center you can do it with children up there is a great playground with slide, swing, sandpit and much more

Super great, cozy, rustic hut with great ambience and great food. The toboggan run was also very cool. We will be back!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Arrived in Virgen on Saturday the 30th of July 2018 to find that our favourite restaurant in the local hotel had closed. We tried one of the only other two in the village which was poor in service and food quality.
Today we discovered ‘ Wurfele Hutte ‘ and to our ‘ amazement ‘ some of the old staff that we had known for years along with some fantastic service and food as well as some spectacular and stunning views.
If you don’t fancy a good 45 min climb up the road you can drive to the venue where there is ample parking
Be aware that this venue is only open Tuesday to Sunday between the hours of 12.00 and 20.00 for excellent food either hot or cold and not forgetting that well earned beer, if you have walked up as we did.

you can hike up, take a rest and /or have a meal.
at 3€ you can rent a sledge and slide down the exeptionally well prepared slope. Great value for a lot of fun. And the view alone is worth the hike
