★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a family run hotel with great attention to details. It is a bit outdated but the rooms are nice, breakfast is huge and the location is great. It is a great place to stay for few days and excellent exit point to attraction across the valley.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Arrived today in one of the new suites its worth the money! Really spacious and such a friendly staff! And great fun with Alf on the skidays or skisafary as the tend to call them. The distance to the lift to spieljoch is about 400m.

The toilet wasn't working when we checked into our room, but someone came and fixed it pretty quick.
The service in general was pretty good and I enjoyed the room too.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a great room, 'Sparzimmer 112'. Friendly staff, the room was also very clean and tidy. The food was extraordinary. Super tasty and also, a lot. When having 'Verwöhnpension' you also have a 'Mittagsjause' which is like a small meal between lunch and dinner. The owner, Marianne, speaks to every guest personally. The hotel was also happy to bring me to the train station, and also to bring me back to the hotel in the afternoon.
Children and dogs are also allowed and very welcome. I had a wonderful stay, wouldn't mind if it would have last a little longer. Then I also would have tested the pool and other wellness possibilities. I wish every village for snowsports had a Hotel Schiestl!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Clean, friendly, attentive. Breakfast was super, dinner was good but not great. Giving 5 stars because it was all I could hope for. For ski just take into account that you'll have to catch a bus to the rest of the slopes besides Spieljoch. There were plans for making an extra lift connection, but it has not been realized yet as of March 2022
