We went for hiking and enjoyed the day in blessing peace and charming sounds in wood. We booked the table at one of the most famous restaurant in Stiria and enjoyed in wonderful natural meals and rustic atmosphere. Every recommendation!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Maybe I had too big expectations. Just had a Saturday family 'lunch' at 3pm, so this score is about the restaurant. I'm sure that the ingredients are genuine, fresh and local when possible, but the menu generally lacks any creativity, the kitchen is disappointingly slow and the service is just below ok. It is a pity because the place and the environment is marvellous. Looking at the dressed-up crowd I think this place is overrated.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fabolous experience. Have had opportunity of dining here several times and every time was memorable. I am grateful to the Austrian associates for inviting to such a wonderful location with typical delicious Austrian cuisine.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The kitchen is definitely doing a good job but the way service is setup the food gets to the table luke warm. The food server also didn't know the dishes too well. The plating of the food could also be more efficient, eliminating the multiple small plates with side dishes, service is overwhelmed finding room on the table. Als not sure why small tables of 6 are mingled into the same room with bigger private function. Bought some Speck to take home but definitely not the same as they offer on the table. Opening the vacuum packed speck it was soggy and did not smell good so had to toss it out. Overall a disappointing experience.

Building is since 1676 and fabulous new and modern inside.
