★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Die älteste Frottierfabrik im Waldviertel in neuem Gewand! Dank Fam. Strobl hat dieser Betrieb wieder neuen Wind unter den Rudern und ist der Shop ist immer einen Besuch wert! Mein Urgroßvater seibst war Webermeister in Peigarten und später in Thuma ... und belieferte warscheinlich auch damals schon bevorzugt diese Manufaktur. Hier entstehen seit über hundert Jahren aus winzigsten Fäden großartige Kunstwerke bester Qualität! Bravo, weiter so...
The oldest terry factory in the Waldviertel in a new look! Thanks to Fam. Strobl, this company has new wind under the oars and the shop is always worth a visit! My great-grandfather, Seibst, was a master weaver in Peigarten and later in Thuma ... and probably already preferred to supply this manufactory even then. Greatest works of art of the highest quality have been made from tiny threads here for over a hundred years! Bravo, keep it up ...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wir haben heute die Führung durch die Wirtex Frottiermanufaktur gemacht. Das ist wirklich einen Ausflug wert. Man würde gar nicht glauben, wie viel Arbeit hinter so etwas Alltäglichem, wie einem Handtuch, stecken kann. Ich glaube, solche Werkstätten zu sehen ist wichtig, damit man sich hin und wieder darauf besinnt, Qualität zu schätzen. Wir haben jedenfalls einen interessanten Einblick in die Herstellung von Textilien bekommen.
Today we took the tour of the Wirtex terry manufacture. This is really worth a trip. You wouldn't believe how much work can go into something as mundane as a towel. I think it is important to see workshops like this so that you can remember to appreciate quality every now and then. In any case, we got an interesting insight into the production of textiles.
