Die Qualität eines Gymnasiums zu beurteilen ist sehr schwer, daher kann ich meine Einschätzung nur an Beispielen festmachen. Folgendes ist mir in einigen Jahren Wimmergymnasium (als Elternteil) aufgefallen: Der Direktor kennt die Schüler und weiss über jeden Schüler etwas positives zu sagen (Dies kann man zum Beispiel am Schulfest erleben). Die Lehrerinnen, mit denen ich zu tun hatte, nehmen sich Zeit und richten ihr Augenmerk auf die Entwicklung der Schüler. Die Beurteilung ist fair, nachvollziehbar und dennoch zielorientiert. Das Schulgebäude selbst ist traditionell aber zweckgemäß. Die Klassen schaffen es, in den Klassenzimmern eine gemütliche Umgebung herzustellen. Der Garten (Hof) der Schule ist ein großes Plus. In der Unterstufe ist insbesondere die enge Verschränkung mit der Musik ein Plus. Gegenstände wie Bildnerische Erziehung und Werken leiten die Schüler an, selbst etwas auszuprobieren. Die Atmosphäre ist sehr ausgewogen und werthaltig, mein Kind geht gerne zur Schule, und genau dies spricht für die Schule! It is very difficult to judge the quality of a grammar school, so I can only base my assessment on examples. I noticed the following in a few years at the Wimmergymnasium (as a parent): The director knows the students and has something positive to say about each student (this can be seen at the school festival, for example). The teachers I have dealt with take their time and focus on the development of the students. The assessment is fair, understandable and yet goal-oriented. The school building itself is traditional but functional. The classes manage to create a cozy environment in the classrooms. The school's garden (yard) is a big plus. In the lower grades, the close connection with music is a plus. Objects such as art education and works of art encourage the students to try something out for themselves. The atmosphere is very balanced and valuable, my child likes going to school, and that is exactly what speaks for school!
