Josef Habich hat uns eindrucksvoll bei einer Bierverkostung die Entstehungsgeschichte der Wimitzbräu erzählt und den Brauvorgang toll erklärt. Hervorzuheben ist der Gedanke einer regionalen Vermarktung und der Einsatz von regional angebauten Rohstoffen. Die Brauerei ist Besuch wert vor allem für Gruppen im Rahmen einer Besichtigung! Großes Lob an das Team der Brauerei und natürlich an die Gründer für die Umsetzung dieser tollen Idee. We made a tour of the brewery at Wimitzbräu as part of the KIOTO Solar factory tour. Josef Habich impressively told us the story of how Wimitzbräu was made during a beer tasting and gave a great explanation of the brewing process. The idea of regional marketing and the use of regionally grown raw materials should be emphasized. The brewery is worth a visit, especially for groups as part of a tour! Kudos to the brewery team and, of course, to the founders for implementing this great idea.

Aber es gibt im Lagerbereich eine urige Theke und nette Beratung. Das Bier ist top! It is not that easy to find the entrance as one is apparently not really prepared for customer traffic. But there is a rustic counter and nice advice in the storage area. The beer is great!
