It was great to have a native english speaking Physiotherapist. Harlan was very good at explaining the problem and recommending exercises that helped my injury. The exercises are easy to do at home and it was very helpful to get a sheet to take home with a list of the exercises including diagrams.

I was recommended Harlan by a friend and was more than happy with his services. I injured my back and neck snowboarding, and it was nice to have found a native English speaking physio in Vienna. I would highly recommend Harlan.

Harlan can speak English and German ( and maybe others i dont know!). On the first meeting he made me feel relaxed and he really listened to my problems and recorded them professionally. I visited weekly for several sessions, and everytime I came out of the session I felt better physically and mentally. We had some great chats and I always left feeling positive. His knowledge of the body and the science behind it is extremely good, every session I would learn a new something new about my own body and I would learn a new exercise or technique. He is very generous with his time and in sharing his knowledge. I would say he is also very experienced because he has seen a lot of clients. He also recommended me a very good psychologist. So I found that he cares about you physically and mentally! A great guy who loves his sport! Cheers Harlan!!! Andrew

I was disappointed by the service. Harlan was instead of being encouraging, pointing out how everything is wrong with my body. He also wanted money for one session I didn't come to and that I have cancelled the same day. He previously stated that I have to pay if I don't cancel in advance, but still if someone tells you they are not satisfied with your service, I think you don't take their money when they didn't come to your appointment. Basics of morals. Later edit: I changed your name, I apologise for the mistake. All the invoices were paid, I checked again in my banking. I waited for a week because sometimes it is hard to give feedback to someone and the therapies were booked in advance as far as I remember. I said it was my mistake, but still it felt wrong for me to pay it. Also the way you are handling feedback seems unprofessional for me. If I tell you that the way you handled the therapy was wrong for me than obviously it was wrong and you defending it with the statement that you have to tell me everything as a physiotherapist doesn't help with anything. Yes, you have to tell. But there are different ways to tell people, one of them could be more encouraging, not giving me a feeling like I am almost non-functional.

I decided to check out Dr Harlan's practice because it was close to my home. I first looked at his website which is easy to use - the FAQ section really answers all your questions. After I submitted my request in the online form, I received a call from Dr Harlan. We went over his service one more time and booked the first appointment. Since then I have had five or so sessions but I had to cancel due to personal circumstances. Dr Harlan is obviously knowledgeable about all aspects of the body and developed exercises that helped me recover from ailments and other issues that I was even unaware of. He drew the exercises on a piece of paper (what an artist!) which are easy to do, even at home. I particularly liked how the sessions evolved each time and how he tailored them according to my views and preferences, so it’s not all top-down. Finally Dr Harlan is a spontaneous and fun person to be around with which made the experience less clinical and more ‘human’, if that makes sense. All in all a very positive experience and would highly recommend.
