M	Madlen Zache on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Atemberaubende Schlucht für Kinder ab 6. Im oberen Bereich der Schlucht schwierige Kletterpassagen. Wir haben für den Rundweg gute 4 Stunden gebraucht. Oben war kein Wasser, da klettert man nur über Felsen und Leitern. Unten beim Parkplatz ist ein paar Meter den Bach aufwärts ein Ministausee mit Floss - perfekt zum Abkühlen. Nice short hike. The lower part of the gorge is great, with waterfalls and lots of small bridges. There was no water at the top, you just climb over rocks and ladders. At the bottom of the parking lot, a few meters up the stream, there is a mini reservoir with a raft - perfect for cooling off.
S	Sanne de Graaff on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ontzettende mooie hike! Wij (23 en 24jr) zijn beginners en zijn deze tocht toch aangegaan. De auto kan je in het dorpje kwijt of iets verderop de berg op. Wij hebben 3.5 uur over de klim gedaan, heen en terug. Prachtig mooi ga je de waterval op via stenen en zelf gecreëerde ladders en planken. Hierdoor is de klim niet geschikt voor kinderen en honden en goede bergschoenen is erg belangrijk. Wij hadden 30 graden, maar het was goed te doen, omdat je veel tussen de bergen en rotsen zit waardoor je in de schaduw loopt. Tijdens de hike kom je vrijwel niemand tegen, dus ga goed voorbereid op pad! Incredibly beautiful hike! We (23 and 24 yrs) are beginners and decided to take this trip anyway. Daarom minder geschikt voor kleine kinderen en honden. Er is vrijwel geen parkeergelegenheid dicht bij de klamm, meer een plek voor wandelaars Beautiful gorge just north of Hermagor near the village of Jadersdorf. L	Linda van der Veer on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Super mooi stukje natuur in Gitschtal. De moeite waard om een rondje te wandelen. Klim ca 350 meter. Wij zijn wel halverwege omgedraaid omdat het nat was en de rotsen en planken erg glad. Het zou 5 sterren krijgen als de oversteek plekken / bruggetjes iets veiliger werden gemaakt. Bij een losse plank zijn we omgekeerd omdat we dat gevaarlijk vonden. Super nice piece of nature in Gitschtal. Worth to go for a walk. Climb around 350 meters. We turned around halfway because it was wet and the rocks and boards very slippery. It would get 5 stars if the crossing places / bridges were made a little safer. With a loose board we are reversed because we found that dangerous.

Die Tour durch die Weissenbachklamm ist schon eine nicht ganz alltägliche Wanderung durch eine Klamm....Gutes, festes Schuhwerk und ein bisschen Trittsicherheit sind angebracht....Der Weg hinauf durch die Klamm dauert ca. 1Std.... über Forstweg und durch den Wald wieder zurück dann knapp 2Std. Durch die Klamm muss man viel über Steine und Felsen klettern, als denn klassisch "Wandern" Wir waren mit unseren Kids (6 + 13) unterwegs und die hatten sehr viel Spaß....Dennoch sollte man mit kleineren Kindern vorsichtig sein und die Kids sollten keine Angst haben am Ende die Leiter hoch zu klettern..sind ein paar Meter! ....es gibt keine Sicherung dort.... ( Empfohlen ist der Weg ab 10)...und die Kids sollten ein wenig Kondition am Start haben. Bei Regen ist der Weg nix, da wird es schnell zu rutschig! Aber sonst ist es schon ein Erlebnis so durch die eine Klamm zu klettern.....genug Verpflegung mitnehmen, es kommt hier keine Hütte oder Alm unterwegs.... Very nice, but not that easy ... The tour through the Weissenbachklamm is not an everyday hike through a gorge .... Good, sturdy footwear and a bit of surefootedness are required .... The way up through the gorge takes about 1 hour .... via forest and back through the forest then just under 2 hours. Through the gorge you have to climb a lot over stones and rocks than classic "hiking" We were out with our kids (6 + 13) and they had a lot of fun .... Nevertheless, you should be careful with smaller children and the kids shouldn't be afraid to climb the ladder at the end..A few meters! .... there is no safety device there .... (the route from 10 is recommended) ... and the kids should have a little bit of stamina at the start. When it rains, the path is nowhere, it quickly becomes too slippery! But otherwise it is quite an experience to climb through a gorge ..... take enough food with you, there are no huts or alpine pastures on the way ...
