G	Georg Viertbauer on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wir kamen spontan und ohne Voranmeldung bei f.x. Pichler vorbei. Sofort wurden wir vom Chef persönlich sehr freundlich empfangen und uns wurden viele Fragen beantwortet und es wurden auch mehrere Weine verkostet. Die Weine waren alle sehr, sehr gut und sehr geschmackvoll haben wir gefunden. Anmerken möchte ich, dass wir zwar sicher nicht das "typische" bzw "übliche" fx Publikum waren, trotzdem hatte sich der Chef selbst viel Zeit genommen, uns als Gäste willkommen zu heißen. Die Weine sowie das Weingut sind meiner Meinung nach ausgezeichnet und sicher einen besuch wert We came spontaneously and without prior notice to f.x. Pichler over. We were immediately received very personally by the boss and many questions were answered and several wines were tasted. The wines were all very, very good and very tasty we found. I would like to note that we were certainly not the "typical" or "usual" fx audience, but the boss himself took a lot of time to welcome us as guests. The wines and the winery are excellent in my opinion and definitely worth a visit

Ke každému jsme měli krátký výklad. A vše bylo velmi příjemné. A design místnosti a budovy mě baví. Moc se mi zde líbilo a moc mi tu chutnalo. Také umí přivézt objednané krabice vína na váš hotel v blízkosti. It is a little away from the town. But it's a pity not to wander there :-), we were welcomed by a very nice lady, with whom we agreed on a tasting of selected wines. We had a brief explanation for each. And everything was very nice. And I enjoy the design of the room and the building. I really liked it here and I really liked it here. It can also bring ordered boxes of wine to your nearby hotel.

J	James Diewald on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've never had a less engaging tasting in my life. We made an appointment weeks ahead of time and came to the Wachau specifically to visit FX Pichler. The tasting room is cold and uninviting. The host only imparted the names of the wines without embellishment of any kind. We know the producer from tastings in New York and came with high expectations. Spare yourself the frustration of a visit and buy through a distributor.

Pleasant building - wines on the €33 spectrum - we will never know if they were worth the 400 per cent premium rating.

"Weingut Franz Xaver Pichler in Dürnstein is a family-run winery based in the Austrian wine region ofWachau. The vineyads consist of 16ha of vines, mainly Grüner Veltliner und Rheinriesling. Grüne Veltliner M (for Monumental) and the Grüne Veltliner Kellerberg Smaragd are their flagship cuvees, followed by the Rheinrieslinge M, Unendlich and Kellerberg Smaragd. Hugh Johnson described the winery as one of the leading growers in the region of Wachau."
