Waschl-Mühle

1A condition and lots of information. We liked it. The Mühlenweg No. 61 is difficult in parts. Well worth the effort.

Beware of the circular mill trail. Do not start at waschlmühle. Difficult to follow

There is a large parking lot here (free of charge) from here we started our small, fine hike (the mill trail) past the Kneipp basin to the waterfall (which is mega beautiful ?) and past numerous water mills!

Very nice hike, but partly needed sure-footedness, not suitable for smaller children. On the way a great view of the Watzmann. Since hiking signs and signs have unfortunately disappeared due to forest work, the path is difficult to find at times, we have been to the Watzmannblick? twice, or the path suddenly ends in a trampled path and is very adventurous. Fortunately we got back on the right track and the view of the waterfall is just great. Tip with children just drive directly to the parking lot at the waterfall.

Starting point for a wonderful hike. There is a small parking lot directly opposite where you can start. The Ebenauer Mühlen circular hiking trail begins here. It takes about 2 hours and leads over partly very steep paths (marked hiking trail 61) to the highest point. (Watzmann look). In total you pass 7 old mills. The path leads to the Plötz natural monument, a 50 m high waterfall. Starting point Waschlmühle, Pertill-Mühle, Schroffenau-Mühle, Eder mill, Pertiller mill, Schindlau mill, Hofbauer mill. At the Rettenbach near the reservoir, a path leads over a footbridge back to the parking lot. In front of the reservoir you have to look at the Plötz waterfall, which is well worth seeing, here you have wonderful photo opportunities. The last 5 of the 7 mills are located near the Plötz waterfall. You should definitely do this hike clockwise (beginning of the Waschlmühle), as you have better photo light for the waterfall in the afternoon. Sturdy hiking shoes are advisable for the steep paths in the forest. Warning, very slippery when the leaves are wet. Below are some of my most beautiful photos of this hike.
