R	Robert Nawrath on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Schöne Natur. Im Sommer eine Wanderung wert. Leider sind die Liftanlagen insgesamt nicht mehr zeitgemäß. Beautiful nature. Worth a hike in summer. Unfortunately, the lifts are no longer up to date.
O	Oliver Reiß on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Der Rundweg zum Walmedinger Horn ist nur für Personen mit guter Kondition und Trittsicherheit sowie gutem Schuhwerk zu empfehlen. Der Weg ist als mittelschwer gekennzeichnet und das ist nicht untertrieben. Ein einmaliges Ergebnis beim Aufstieg ist der Sonnenaufgang mit Sicht auf den Ifen. An der Bergstation der Bahn gibt es ein Kiosk, eine Bar und ein Restaurant. Der Aufstieg ab hier zum Gipfel ist auf den befestigten Wegen für viele zu bewältigen. Ende September waren auf dem "Alpenblumen weg" zum Gipfel nicht mehr viel zu sehen. Vor dem Abstieg ins Tal wird explizit auf die Gefährlichkeit des Abstiegs für ungeübte Wanderer hingewiesen - fanden wir sehr positiv. Der Abstieg ist in der Tat anstrengend und teilweise Recht steil. The circular route to the Walmedinger Horn is only recommended for people with good physical condition and sure-footedness as well as good footwear. The path is marked as intermediate and that is not an understatement. A unique result in the ascent is the sunrise with a view of the Ifen. There is a kiosk, a bar and a restaurant at the mountain station. The ascent from here to the summit can be mastered on the paved paths for many. At the end of September, there was not much to see on the "Alpine Flowers Path" to the summit. Before descending into the valley, we explicitly point out the dangers of descent for inexperienced hikers - we found it very positive. The descent is indeed exhausting and sometimes quite steep.

The alpine flower path to the summit is easy to walk. Unfortunately we had no mountain view in July 2021. But we are sure, we would love to come back!
