Das "Museum" befindet sich im Obergeschoß eines ehemaligen Einfamilienhauses und beinhaltet jede Menge interessante Informationen über die schwarzen, grauen oder blauen Samen. Abgerundet wird das Ganze mit 2 kurzen Filmen in denen die Entstehung des Mohnhofes, sowie die Verarbeitung beschrieben wird. Im Erdgeschoß des Hauses befindet sich der Shop in dem es alles Erdenkliche zu kaufen gibt, das mit Mohn zu tun hat. Ein besonderes Highlight sind die handgemachten Mohnzelten, die man beim Erwerb der Eintrittskarte erhält. Der Mohnhof bietet viele Mohnprodukte an, natürlich auch die für die Region typischen Mohnzelten – undzwar eine der mit Abstand besten! Gegen Eintritt kann man auch das "Mohnmuseum" im 1. Stock besichtigen. A nice stop if you are on your way into the deep Waldviertel. The Mohnhof offers many poppy seed products, including, of course, the poppy seed tents typical of the region - and one of the best by far! For a fee you can also visit the "Poppy Museum" on the 1st floor.

Die überaus freundliche Tochter des Hauses bediente uns prompt und gab uns noch einen guten Tip fürs Mittagessen in der Gegend!
