G	Georg on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wir sind von Krems bis Spitz an der Donau gefahren und wieder retour. Bei der Hinfahrt war sehr viel los, Rückfahrt war ok. We drove from Krems to Spitz an der Donau and back again. There was a lot going on on the way there, the return trip was ok.

Jedesmal fiel das Unternehmen durch superfreundliche Schaffner auf. Da fühlt man sich wohl. Für die Kinder gab es sogar einen kleinen, interessanten Folder mit Buntstiften. Die Fahrt mit der Wachaubahn werden wir immer wieder gerne machen. Freuen uns schon auf das nächste Mal! We (2 families with 2 children) have been traveling for the second time with the Wachau Railway from Emmersdorf to Krems. Each time the company was noticed by super-friendly conductors. It makes you feel good. For the children there was even a small, interesting folder with crayons. The ride with the Wachaubahn we will always like to do. Looking forward to the next time!
E	Ein Google-Nutzer on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Zuglinie zwischen Krems und Emmersdorf. Der Zug ist in den Sommermonaten täglich unterwegs, etwas davor und danach nur am Wochenende. Im Großteil des Winters ist kein Betrieb. Die Fahrt dauert etwa 50 Minuten. Sehr schöne Aussichten auf Weinberge, die Donau und auch auf die Wachau. Die Züge haben genügend Sitzplätze, außerdem kann man kostenlos reservieren. WC im Zug vorhanden. Personal sehr nett. Preise ziemlich teuer, mit dem Bus ist die Fahrt zwar etwas kürzer, aber billiger. Viele Ausflugsmöglichkeiten in der Umgebung. Durchsagen im Zug vorhanden. Eine Fahrt ist definitiv empfehlenswert, wenn man die Wachau sehen möchte, aber man sollte sie auch mit einem Ausflugsziel oder einer Schifffahrt kombinieren, denn nur die Zugfahrt alleine ist als Tagesbeschäftigung eher langweilig. Train line between Krems and Emmersdorf. The train runs every day in the summer months, a little before and after that only on weekends. There is no business during most of the winter. The journey takes about 50 minutes. Very nice views of the vineyards, the Danube and also the Wachau. The trains have enough seats, and you can reserve for free. WC on the train. Staff very nice. Prices quite expensive, the bus ride is a little shorter, but cheaper. Many excursions in the area. Announcements available on the train. A trip is definitely recommended if you want to see the Wachau, but you should also combine it with an excursion or a boat trip, because only the train ride alone is rather boring as a day job.

Sehr freundliches Personal sowohl bei der Buchungs/Info-Telefonnummer der NÖVOG als auch am Zug selbst. Eine Reise wert! Aufenthalt reicht:) The train journey from Krems to Emmersdorf is very nice. Emmerdorf itself is a small place with churches and inns. 1 hour stay is enough :)

Emmersdorf als Endstation ist leider ein wenig eingeschlafen und langweilig, besonders für Kinder. Der alte Dorfkern selbst und die kleine Kapelle im Zentrum sind sehr schön und romantisch. Direkt am Bahnhof gibt es leider keine Versorgung über einen Getränkeautomaten oder einem Kiosk für Eis, somit wird das Warten mit Kindern leider anstrengend. Fantastic panorama along the route, really worth seeing. Emmersdorf as the end station has unfortunately fallen asleep a bit and is boring, especially for children. The old village center itself and the small chapel in the center are very beautiful and romantic. Unfortunately there is no supply at the train station via a drinks machine or a kiosk for ice cream, so waiting with children is unfortunately exhausting.

Es sind moderne Garnituren entlang einer wunderschönen Strecke. Grosse Panoramafenster und superfreundliche Mitarbieter bereiten einen unvergessliche Reise! Auch und vor allem die Damen am Telefon geben eine herrvorrgande Auskunft und sind sehr hilfsbereit. Das kann man sich bei anderen Bahngesellschaften gar nicht vorstellen, wie kundenfreundlich man hier orientiert ist. Top Empfehlung! Great railway line from Krems to Emmersdorf.
