Einmal wöchentlich erfährt man alles rund um das Thema nachhaltige Kultivierung und Gestaltung von Schnittblumen. Ich mag Margrits offene und ehrliche Art sehr und die Begeisterung, mit der sie all ihr Wissen und ihre Erfahrungen (auch die des Teams) mit uns teilt. Alle Workshops werden zum Nachschauen aufgezeichnet (falls es sich zeitlich einmal nicht ausgeht) und man hat Zugang zu umfangreichen Unterlagen. Ich kann Margrit und das "Vom Hügel"-Team nur empfehlen, da trifft Professionalität auf Leidenschaft! I've been doing the annual online workshop at Margrit since November 2020. Once a week you can find out everything about sustainable cultivation and design of cut flowers. I really like Margrit's open and honest manner and the enthusiasm with which she shares all her knowledge and experience (including that of the team) with us. All workshops are recorded for review (if there is not enough time) and you have access to extensive documents. I can only recommend Margrit and the "Vom Hügel" team, because professionalism meets passion!
C	Cornelia Wund on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Leider klappt es überhaupt nicht mit einer Reservierung, wir haben uns schon sehr auf einen gedeckten und liebevoll vorbereiteten Tisch gefreut da wir unseren Hochzeitstag feiern wollten. Per Mail würde uns das auch zugesichert, wir sind auf Empfehlung hin da das Frühstück immer auf Fotos sehr außergewöhnlich und lecker ausschaute, aber unser Tisch wurde einfach an nicht reservierte Gäste weitergegeben ohne nach den Namen zu fragen , sehr schade.... Unfortunately it doesn't work at all with a reservation, we were really looking forward to a set and lovingly prepared table because we wanted to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We would also be assured of this by email, we are on recommendation because the breakfast always looked very unusual and delicious in photos, but our table was simply passed on to non-reserved guests without asking their names, a shame ....

Es ist sensationell schön zu erleben, wie hier vom Samenkorn bis zum fertigen Blumenstrauß/Werkstück gearbeitet wird. Wild - pur - nachhaltig wird hier gelebt und gefeiert. Diese Bio-Landwirtschaft bietet neben dem Gartencafe, in dem man gemütlich Frühstücken oder auch feiern kann, sehr wertvolles Dekorationsmaterial und natürlich auch biologisch vor Ort gepflanzte und gezüchtete Blumen in toller Vielfalt. Saisonal bedingt kann man sich hier sehr gut mitreißen und inspirieren lassen - auch bei einem Rundgang durch die Äcker (zB Dahlienacker mit über 11.000 Dahlien) und dem angrenzendem Wald inkl. Trau-Platz für das wilde, pure und nachhaltige Hochzeitserlebnis mitten in der Natur. The most impressive farm when it comes to organic flowers. It is sensationally beautiful to see how work is carried out here from the seed to the finished bouquet / workpiece. Wild - pure - sustainable is lived and celebrated here. In addition to the garden cafe, in which you can have breakfast or celebrate, this organic agriculture offers very valuable decorative material and of course a great variety of organically planted and grown flowers on site. Depending on the season, you can get carried away and be inspired here - even on a tour through the fields (e.g. dahlia fields with over 11,000 dahlias) and the adjacent forest including a wedding place for the wild, pure and sustainable wedding experience in the middle of nature.

Okay, Blumen hatten immer schon eine magische Anziehungskraft – am liebsten aber nur zum Pflücken, Kranzerlbinden und Anschauen. Seitdem ich aber offiziell eine „Vom-Hügel-Blumenfreundin“ bin und die wöchentlichen Online-Workshops mitmache (oder zumindest im Nachhinein anschaue), hat mich das Blumenfieber total gepackt. Es gibt kaum noch einen Raum (im Haus & Garten), indem ich nicht schon Blumenfreude verstreut habe. Ich freue mich jede Woche auf die informativen und kreativen Workshops mit Margrit und ihrem Team und schätze auch den Austausch in der Gruppe sehr. Deshalb ist der Workshop-Nachmittag auch bereits ein Fixpunkt in meiner wöchentlichen Planung geworden, den ich nicht mehr missen möchte. Es macht einfach unglaublich viel Spaß! Actually, I always thought that hand lettering was my only and true passion. Okay, flowers have always had a magical attraction - but preferably only to be picked, tied and looked at. But since I've officially become a "Vom Hügel flower friend" and take part in the weekly online workshops (or at least look at it in retrospect), the flower fever has totally seized me. There is hardly a room (in the house & garden) that I haven't already scattered the joy of flowers. I look forward to the informative and creative workshops with Margrit and her team every week and I really appreciate the exchange in the group. That is why the afternoon of the workshop has already become a fixed point in my weekly planning that I would not want to be without. It's just a lot of fun!

Waren zu 5. dort und haben 25 Euro pro Person, für 5 belegte Schuljausenbrote und einen nicht marinierten Salat, zahlen dürfen. 125 Euro für eine Familie und das ganze ohne Kaffee oder Tee, was sie noch extra verrechnen. Vielleicht wollen die einfach Leut aus der Stadt übers Ohr hauen, aber solche Preise hast nicht mal beim Sacher. "Bio" hin oder her. Man soll zuvor reservieren, sodass man dort angekommen, trotzdem warten muss. Preise sind auf der webpage auch nicht zu finden. Erstes und letztes Mal. Very nice ambience and an even nicer garden, but the price for the brunch box is grossly exaggerated. There were 5 people there and were allowed to pay 25 euros per person for 5 sandwiches and a non-marinated salad. 125 euros for a family and all without coffee or tea, which you charge extra. Maybe they just want to cheat people from the city, but even Sacher doesn't have such prices. "Bio" or not. You should reserve in advance so that when you get there you have to wait anyway. Prices cannot be found on the webpage either. First and last time.

Habe mir beim stolzen Preis von 6,5€ (Selbstbedienung) jedoch mehr vom Mini-Sandwich mit Tomate, Salat und Blumen erwartet. Gastronomie überzeugte mich nicht. Dass Schlagworte wie "Bio" und "vegan" 3€ für einen Espresso rechtfertigen, kann ich auch nicht ganz nachvollziehen. Frühstück sieht auf den Fotos anderer User toll aus. Nice, stylish ambience in the middle of the flower garden. At the high price of 6.5 € (self-service) I expected more from the mini sandwich with tomato, lettuce and flowers. Gastronomy didn't convince me. I can't quite understand that catchphrases like "organic" and "vegan" justify € 3 for an espresso. Breakfast looks great in the photos of other users.
