Leider gibt es in dieser Schule Lehrerinnen, denen Einfühlungsvermögen ein absolutes Fremdwort zu sein scheint. Kind kam mehrmals weinend nach Hause, weil es von der Klassenlehrerin entweder angefahren wurde, dass es schneller arbeiten solle, als unfähig hingestellt wurde, oder auf Grund von Äußerlichkeiten vor der ganzen Klasse gedemütigt wurde. Dies führte dazu, dass das Kind nun sein Aussehen in Frage stellt und kritisiert. Des Weiteren wird absolut nichts unternommen um die Klassengemeindschaft zu stärken und es scheint manche Lehrkräfte auch nicht zu kümmern, dass gewisse Kinder von anderen Kindern ausgegrenzt werden. Mit Sicherheit trifft das nicht auf alle Lehrkräfte zu, aber ich gewinne langsam den Eindruck, dass in dieser Schule keinerlei Wert auf die Gefühle mancher Kinder gelegt wird. Sollte die Schule nicht ein Ort sein, wo die Kinder auf ihrem Bildungsweg bestärkt und unterstützt werden? Sollten die Lehrkräfte nicht als Vorbilder fungieren und den Kindern mit eben dem Respekt begegnen, den sie von ihnen erwarten. Es macht traurig, dass manche Lehrer unüberlegte Äußerungen machen, ohne dabei Rücksicht auf die Gefühle des betroffenen Kindes nehmen.

Unfortunately, there are teachers in this school for whom empathy seems to be an absolute foreign word. The child came home crying several times because the class teacher either told him that he should work faster than what was said to be incompetent, or because the whole class was humiliated because of his outward appearance. This has led to the child now questioning and criticizing his appearance. Furthermore, absolutely nothing is done to strengthen the class community and some teachers do not seem to care that certain children are excluded from other children. This is certainly not the case for all teachers, but I'm starting to get the impression that this school doesn't value the feelings of some children. Shouldn't school be a place where children are encouraged and supported in their educational journey? Shouldn't the teachers act as role models and treat the children with the respect they expect from them? It is sad that some teachers make rash statements without considering the feelings of the child concerned.
