I went here for health issues I have, after months of research on retreats all over the world I decided on Vivamayr. Saving up for this trip was a really big step but I knew that my health was worth every penny. I found a connection with their focus on the gut and how the medical sided really complimented that. Booking was a little confusing as you don't pay until the end of the trip, however I was so excited. They stated that weight loss was not something they wanted to achieve however it is a happy bonus. Let me state that I did not go there for weight loss, I went there to heal my body and the doctors in the UK had given up. I have many complicated health issues however the doctor I had here really seemed to understand and wasn't judgemental (I had Dr Schubert). I would recommend him if you decided to take the risk and go here, every other part of this trip was entirely wasteful and completely heartbreaking. I was treated like I was there for weight loss and only my appearance mattered, everything was targeting my weight and nothing was about the inside even though they stated many times it is not about the outside. I was taking salt water and many other laxatives that flushed out everything including important bile. I am studying to be a naturopath and my mum is a naturopath so I knew what I was talking about, the staff spoke about nutrition like they were trained when they weren't. They gave advice to people that they really shouldn't be doing. One day my doctor had the day off so I had different doctor, well she read none of my notes and know idea what I was there for. She proceeded to say really unprofessional things to me about my health and my appearance, even though she had no idea what I was there for and how I live. When I corrected her, she began to read my notes and never apologised. I have Crohn's Disease which I have not had an episode for at least 3 years, they stripped everything from gut that I had a flare up again. This isn't something that should happen, I was then told my a waiter that it gets worse before it get's better. When he said this to me I realised that they have no idea what they are talking about. On top of all of this, their nutrition plan is not nutrition at all. I was given white potatoes and either dried meat or smoked salmon. No vegetables (dried beetroot and fennel crisps), as I am studying nutrition and I have lived a holistic life for the last 6 years, I was gobsmacked that they could say this is good for your health. After this, all I wanted to do was see my original doctor that never returned, I cancelled my trip 5 days early as it was not worth it for me. I had no explanation of why I didn't have him again and no apology from the other doctor. When I came home I went to get my CRP's done earlier than I should (inflammation markers), I have to get them tested every 6 months because of my Crohn's. They more than doubled from this trip. I had to go back to the nutrition plan I did when I found out I had Crohn's. This might be good for people who are already at optimum health but for me this was not that place. It made my health worse and after 5 emails to them they have refused to acknowledge me. It was very expensive and if it helped I wouldn't be complaining, however it did not help at all and I was very saddened by the way I was treated.

I absolutely love this place and I hope I can visit again!! The hotel stuff, restaurant staff, doctors and nurses were the best! I am so fussy but they all catered to my needs and more. The NHS had completely failed me so my last resort was this place... I went with little expectation had a tough time with the health regime there but began to see so much improvement a few weeks after my return home. I'm still trying to incorporate the right way of eating into my daily routine. I'll never look back. If you no longer trust the NHS and/or have any type of illness please do consider visiting this place!

Outside my window can see mountains, and even in the winter this is a beautiful experience. Everyone is very helpful, and they really help you regain focus on yourself and your body. Much better understanding of the gut, and also of the emotional self. The people who come are also lovely which makes for a great atmosphere. Having been to the other Vivamayr, I like them both for different reasons. Instead of doing a normal holiday, I do suggest you come here! It will change your life.

Scam that is actively harmful. Ridiculously overpriced and I was given ‘medical advice’ based on an examination that involved placing microscopic amounts of foods and minerals in glass vials on my chest one by one and testing my muscle strength each time. The ‘doctor’ informed me that I was intolerant of the deadly nightshades (tomatoes and potatoes) - which is blatantly untrue - and worse, that my body tolerates lactose fine. I am in fact lactose intolerant. So this sham medical advice not only set me back over £400 but also caused me great discomfort. Please don’t make the same mistake as me!

We went first time this place, we eat savar cabbage and deer meat some on top of the savar cabbage, its was very nice enjoy my self, very good, pancake also very nice, very good and enjoy my self

Feeling fantastic! Wonderful and super professional. Would highly recommend it for anyone looking to renew, reset, recharge, feed mind body and soul. Best medical doctors and detox / de stress programs. Magnificent view & settings. Luxury accommodations. Cannot wait to be back.

I think many people don’t understand what Vivamayr is.. Vivamayr is not a full check up of your body, it is expected that you know your problems and you come to have some relief. I suffer from post covid and I went to Vivamayr to treat the symptoms and make them less noticeable (I had apathy, sudden heatwaves, mood swings and tiredness). So what I can say : range of doctors are well specialists, the cures that are used are well known and you won’t find here any innovative technologies which I think is good ! Doctor Claudia is the best! Definitely recommend to try also water shiatsu! Disappointed only by the fact that the doctor who was provided to me initially did not speak English very well and therefore I had to switch but the new doctor (Claudia) is magnificent! Nature around is amazing! The food is super delicious. Also I feel that an app could be more useful - as the number of paper prints you get is ? and btw I feel much better after my 7 days program - definitely worth it!
