The city of Villach becomes a very useful city for route planning if you make good use of transportation. For example if you are traveling to salzburg and want to travel to zagreb via Ljubljana. If you search for Flix Bus, there are no buses or there are only routes that go backwards to munich to Ljubljana or via Graz. It takes a lot of time and is expensive. In that case, take the train from Salzburg to Villach, it takes 2:30 minutes and costs 10 euros. The train is convenient and the price is cheap. Anyway, Salzburg is convenient to use because the train station is the tourist center. There is also a shopping center next to it, so it is good to wait. From Villach there is a Flix bus to Trieste. It takes 2:50 minutes and costs 16 euros. It's easy to connect to any city in Trieste. Or take the train again from Villach to Klagenfurt and there is a Flixbus to Bled. From Villach, the Klagenfurt train takes 31 minutes and costs 9 euros. Travel to Klagenfurt The Bled Flixbus in Klagenfurt costs 6 euros. Besides Flix Bus, there are other company buses. There are many buses from Bled to Ljubljana. Just for reference, we used to go via Graz a long time ago when we didn't know this route, but now we go to Villach. There is also a train from Villach to Venice. It takes 3:49 minutes and costs 20 euros. The Bled train from Villach costs 1:14 minutes and costs 9 euros.
