Good view and a good starting point for hikes. A beautiful path leads along the west side of the lake, on the other side only the road.

Seit der Erbauung in den 1930'er Jahren ist eine Menge Zeit vergangen. Außerdem bietet der Stausee eine willkommene Gelegenheit um abseits der Touristenströme eine kurze Wanderung in den Autotag Silvretta einzubauen. Major construction work is currently underway to bring the hydropower systems into the 21st century. A lot of time has passed since it was built in the 1930's. In addition, the reservoir offers a welcome opportunity to incorporate a short hike into the Silvretta car day away from the tourist crowds.
M	Maza 9 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sinceramente mi ha un po' deluso. Mi avevano parlato di un lago di montagna ma non sapevo fosse artificiale. Si arriva da una strada a pagamento (cara) e la vista è una diga con condutture forzate per una centrale idroelettrica. Ottimo dal punto di vista ecologico ma non bellissimo da vedere. Arrivati c'è una lunga passeggiata che fa il giro del lago. Devo dire che l'ambientazione in alta montagna è coinvolgente e paesaggisticamente validissima. Honestly, I was a little disappointed. They told me about a mountain lake but I didn't know it was artificial. It comes from a (expensive) toll road and the view is a dam with penstocks for a hydroelectric power station. Excellent from an ecological point of view but not beautiful to see. Once there is a long walk that goes around the lake. I must say that the setting in the high mountains is engaging and landscape-worthy.
