★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Die steirische Eisenstraße ist sowohl geschichtlich als auch landschaftlich ein sehr spannendes Gebiet. Angefangen bei einer Führung durch das Radwerk IV (ehemaliger Hochofen) in Vorderberg, über Führungen auf den Erzberg, die zahlreiche Museen in Eisenerz, das Kupferbergwerk in der Radmer, das Köhlermuseum in Hieflau und vieles mehr geben Einblick in die Arbeitsweisen vergangener Tage. Das einzige das man braucht ist Zeit an all den spannenden Führungen teilzunehmen werden sie doch nicht nur mit viel fachlicher Kompetenz sondern mit viel Begeisterung und Liebe zum Detail durchgeführt. Wirklich spannend und empfehlenswert, egal wofür man sich entscheidet
The Styrian Iron Road is a very exciting area both historically and scenically. Starting with a tour through the Radwerk IV (former blast furnace) in Vorderberg, through tours on the Erzberg, the numerous museums in Eisenerz, the copper mine in the Radmer, the Köhlermuseum in Hieflau and much more, giving an insight into the working methods of bygone days. The only thing you need is time to take part in all the exciting tours, they are not only carried out with a lot of professional competence but with a lot of enthusiasm and attention to detail. Really exciting and recommendable, no matter what you choose
