★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ca. 300 m nördlich von Kaltenberg befindet sich die Ursprungkapelle. In früheren Zeiten befand sich dort ein Bildstöckl mit einer Marienstatue. Bei diesem Bildstöckl stand eine mehrere hundert Jahre alte Linde. Die Volkssage erzählt, dass einem Hirtenknaben an einem Lindenbaum unweit der jetzigen Kirche die Muttergottes erschienen sein soll und an diesem Platz befindet sich heute die „Ursprungkapelle“.
 The original chapel is located approx. 300 m north of Kaltenberg. In earlier times there was a wayside shrine with a statue of the Virgin Mary there. A linden tree several hundred years old stood by this shrine. The folk tale tells that the Mother of God appeared to a shepherd boy on a linden tree not far from the current church, and this is where the “original chapel” is located today.
