Die familiäre Atmosphäre und das bäuerliche Ambiente ist sowohl für Erwachsene Urlauber aber auch für Familien mit mehreren Kindern super geeignet. Die Zimmer sind gepflegt, meist stehen mehrere Betten in den Zimmern, z.B. auch Gitterbett zur Verfügung. Bei Kühen , Hund , Katze und Kaninchen kommen Tierliebhaber ebenso auf ihre Kosten. Die Frühstückspension Mentebauer der Familie Wieser ist am Besten über Rothenthurn bei Spital an der Drau, erreichbar. Bademöglichkeiten gibt es beim nahen Egelsee oder am Südufer des Millstättersees.
