Urlaub am Bauernhof - Ferienwohnungen "Gaferhelm" - Hofernstraße 17

Bei der Ankunft wurden wir von Frau Hebesberger sehr herzlich empfangen. Sie lud uns zu gemeinsamen Kaffee und Kuchen ein. Dabei konnten wir auch gleich ihren Mann, sowie ihre Kinder und auch andere Gäste, die ebenfalls auf dem Hof Urlaub machten kennen lernen. Danach machten wir zusammen mit Fr. Hebesberger einen Rundgang durch ihren Hof und bekamen dabei erste positive Eindrücke von dem Ziegenhof. Wir wohnten in der Katzenstube. Die Wohnung war vorgeheizt und alles war wirklich sehr sauber und ordentlich hergerichtet! Während des gesamten Aufenthaltes waren alle äußerst freundlich und wir konnten wirklich alles über den Hof und die Tiere fragen was uns interessierte. Wir konnten jederzeit zu den Ziegen und auch zu den beiden Eseln gehen und sie streicheln. Wir waren wirklich sehr positiv überrascht von der freundlichen und zutraulichen Art der Ziegen. Der Stall war sauber und die Ziegen sahen auch alle sehr gesund und zufrieden aus. Was mir persönlich sehr gefallen hat war das tägliche gemeinsame Ziegen melken mit Familie Hebesberger. Dabei konnten wir auch Opa Hebesberger und Tochter Christina kennen lernen. Wir durften sogar beim melken und hinaustreiben der Ziegen helfen, was meiner 4jährigen Tochter besonders viel Spaß machte. Auch wenn sie am Abend beim melken etwas überdreht und quirlig war wie so manche Kleinkinder oft sind, hatten alle viel Geduld und Verständnis. Unser Aufenthalt am Ziegenhof hat uns so sehr gefallen, dass mein Mann und ich beschlossen im Sommer noch einmal bei Familie Hebesberger Urlaub zu machen und wir würden den Hof auch jedem weiter empfehlen, der Urlaub auf einem Bauernhof machen möchte.

Zufällig entdeckt, hat uns der Ziegenhof mit seinen großzügigen und liebevoll eingerichteten Ferienwohnungen und der äußerst gast- und kinderfreundlichen Familie Hebesberger mehr als positiv überrascht. Mitten im Ort und trotzdem in Ruhelage mit viel persönlichem Freiraum im umgebenden Garten kann man seine Seele baumeln lassen. Wenn man möchte kann man am Hofleben teilhaben und nicht nur beim Ziegenmelken selbst Hand anlegen. Ein Umstand den nicht nur Kinder zu genießen wissen. Kurz gesagt ein Paradies für neugierige und entdeckungshungrige Kinder und Erwachsene und für alle die nach Streß im Beruf und Alltag wieder herunterkommen und auftanken möchten.

Uns hat es wirklich sehr gut gefallen. Ein sehr sehr schöner gepflegter Bauernhof. Man sieht dass die Familie diesen mit Herz und Seele betreibt. Perfekt für die Kinder zum herumtoben. Der Brötchenservice funktioniert einwandfrei.

Great place to stay with wonderful hosts!

This was one of the best locations we have even stayed in. The appartment was excellent, unbelievable clean, had everything you need and super relaxed and quiet. We wished that we would have been able to stay there for weeks. Lots ofspace.The owners are absolutely wonderfull.It is impressive how they run a beautifull goat farm and the vacation business at the same tme. Location is also great. It is in a beautiful small village and close enough to like Salzburg and Hallstatt. Advise: take the train to Linz or Salzburg, its extremely easy and you don't have to worry about parking. Go for a nice walk, hike in the area, or go rodeln. Rodeln is way too much fun,. if you like fast: do it. There is so much to do and see in that part of Austria,; stay as long as you are capable off. You can have fresh bread every day in the morning, or go to the local store for grocery shpping.They have a bbq if you want to grill and have great places to sit outside to relax and eat. In case of rain there are several places inside, incl your own appartment. The beds are very comfatable and it is wonderfull quiet there during the day and night. If you like to cook during vacation: the kitchen has it all. Our appartment had even a dishwasher. Plenty of space in the kitchen to sit and dine. Large refridgerator for al the goodies, like the wonderfull Austrian beer. Our place was on the ground floor and had an outdoor patio. we used that almost every day. For grocery shopping you only need to go 10-15 minutes and you have a larger size supermarket. Another great advantage of being at this location and in this village: you can park you car everywere. The farm is close enough for a 10-15 minute walk to the restaurant, were they serve wonderfull Schnitzel (super-size). They have several different size rooms and appartments: great place for a vacation with friends and family. Bring the kids they will love it. The farm is impressive. Never seen such a nice and clean farm. The goats are very cute and evryone will love these animals from the start. Perfect place for a family vacation. We are family of four; daughter of 9 and son of 17. Both loved it. My son wrote along on the tractor and got friends with someone his age, and my girl did wathever she was doing, including petting the goats. Dear friends of ours had the appartment above us and that made the vacation even more special. Price/value ratio: perfect! Unbelievable affordable. So conclusion: looking for a vacation address in a beautufull part of Austria and don't want to pay the high prices in the Salzgammergut (Salzburg, Hallstatt, etc.) area: YOU FOUND IT.
