Uns erwartete eine ganz besondere Auswahl an Aufstrichen, Süßspeisen sowie warme Fritatta, die in Wien seines gleichen sucht. Alles war fein angerichtet und man merkte jeder Speise an, dass sie mit viel Liebe selbst zubereitet war. Ein absoluter Diamant für Bruncher in Wien! We visited the gym for Sunday brunch and absolutely loved it. A very special selection of spreads, desserts and warm frittata awaited us, which is unparalleled in Vienna. Everything was finely prepared and you could tell from every dish that it was prepared with a lot of love. An absolute diamond for brunch in Vienna!

The renovated gym makes a very cozy atmosphere however it is a bit too crowded for my taste and somehow it is very loud and you can barely hear the person across of you. But the quality of food and treatment of personnel are priority thats why 4 stars!

S	Simon Sladek on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had brunch at the Turnhalle today. First of all: the food was delicious. Vegetarian plates including various ingredients with a slight oriental touch. Unfortunately the location was not very cosy due to the low temperatures inside. Although it was a sunny winter day in Vienna (meaning it had above 0 degrees on the outside) I could not really enjoy the brunch and didn't even think about staying a bit longer to talk. Even the food and coffee had to suffer and got cold way to quick. The warm dishes including eggs and potatoes were already cold as we grabbed some. The location has its own kind of flair and I really liked it, but the furnishing could need an upgrade. All in all, great idea and great food - but I would prefer to enjoy it still hot and in an more inviting and cosy environment.

Unlike many “vegetarian” places that serve bland salad like food or raw vegetables, Turnhalle has excelled in creating yummy dishes, both in terms of savory and sweet options. The decor is quite nice as well. I especially liked the half runny egg on a bagel with caramelized onions, the lentil salad with beetroot and cherry, and of course the sweet and sour crumble pie. Don’t skip on the preserves: it’s the tiny side items that have such wondrous flavors and textures that tell you they really thought about their menu well. 0.5 star more for the extra effort put in to the menu, and 0.5 star less for being cash only.
K	K. S. on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely set up! Nice details like ginger and lemon water at the table and friendly staff. Would love a vegan pancake, muffin or brownie - easy recipes where you don't need the egg for delicious outcome :) also a soup or something hot would be nice.
