- Small charming local museum, dedicated to the railway linking Badschl to Salzburg. A German panel offers an idea (Google translation): In 1890, Emperor Franz Josef granted the license for the construction and operation of a narrow-gauge railway from Badschl to Salzburg (the Salzkammergut-Lokalbahn AG). From St. Lorenz station there was a junction for Mondsee. - In 1957, the Salzkammergut railway was contested and there were protests from the Mondsee population that coincided with the opening of the construction site for the Mondsee market. - In 1996, the SKGLB Museum was opened here by Heimatbund Mondseeland under the direction of consultant August Zopf. - I was there during a lunch break ? in the KRONE restaurant which is located just a little above. Interesting the driving machine and the original compartments of this train that is among the oldest in the world.

Railway history worth seeing, but unfortunately there is not enough space to show everything. There are two locomotives, one of which can even be viewed from the inside and walked through. I can only recommend it and maybe the Ischlerbahn will run again.
