★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 5 personnes présentes et disponibles. Pas une ne parle le français... dommage dans un office du tourisme. Peu, voir pas d'informations sur les randonnées à faire ce qui est dommage quand on sait les possibilités offertes localement.
5 people present and available. Not one speaks French ... too bad in a tourist office. Little or no information on the hikes to do which is a shame when you know the possibilities offered locally.

Die Tourismus-Betriebe sollten die Stammgäste und jene welche vorzeitig stornieren um Spenden aufrufen, bevor diese pleite gehen. Der Staat soll nicht alles zahlen. Ich wünsche mir offene Hotels, wenn Corona vorbei ist.

The tourism companies should call on regular guests and those who cancel early to donate before they go bankrupt. The state should not pay for everything. I would like hotels to be open when Corona is over.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We have been coming to Mayrhofen annually to hike for the past 15 years. Please don't let your beautiful town and the Zillertal become overrun with two-wheeled terrorists (MTBers) the way Sölden/Õztal has become in recent years. We keep returning to Zillertal to enjoy the peacefulness and tranquility of the mountains. This is incompatible with people who are obsessed with going down steep trails at maximum speed and who view hikers as impediments to their "enjoyment" of the outdoors. It also destroys those trails. That said, since this is supposed to be a review, Mayrhofen and the Zillertal is the best valley for hiking in Tirol. And I say that having visited and hiked in many parts of Tirol and Vorarlberg over several decades.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I visited here for some information about reaching a hiking trail during my stay in Mayrhofen. The lady working was very friendly and provided me with a bus timetable to for reaching the start of the trail. Nice moderne large building near the centre.
