Selbständiger Einzelunternehmer vom 24.Juli 1978 bis 14.Mai 1991 mit Sitz in Wien. Gründung der DIPL.ING.THONHAUSER GesmbH am 14.Mai 1991 mit Sitz in Perchtoldsdorf, Aufbau der Firma als geschäftsführender Gesellschafter.
Betriebsgegenstand: Handel mit Chemikalien / Reinigungs- und Desinfektionsmittel für die Nahrungsmittel- und Getränkeindustrie, Betrieb eines chemischen und mikrobiologischen Labors in Perchtoldsdorf, Beratung in sämtlichen Fragen der Betriebshygiene sowie Umsetzung der Bestimmungen Lebensmittelhygiene VO bei den Kunden. Beratung der Kunden in der Weinbranche in sämtlichen Fragen der Vinifikation inklusive Mikrobiologie und Kellereihygiene. Entwicklung von Verfahren und Produkten für die umweltgerechte chemische Reinigung in der Industrie. Ausarbeitung mehrerer österreichischer und internationaler Patente.
Unter der Leitung meines Sohnes Philip Thonhauser expandiert das Unternehmen weltweit und ist inzwischen Teil des AFCO-Konzerns USA.

Subject matter: Trade with chemicals / detergents and disinfectants for the food and beverage industry, operation of a chemical and microbiological laboratory in Perchtoldsdorf, advice on all questions of industrial hygiene as well as implementation of food hygiene regulations VO at the customer. Advising customers in the wine industry on all aspects of vinification including microbiology and cellar hygiene. Development of processes and products for environmentally friendly dry cleaning in industry. Preparation of several Austrian and international patents.
Under the direction of my son Philip Thonhauser, the company is expanding worldwide and is now part of the AFCO Group USA.
