Sehr gemütlich, schöne Ausstattung. Matratzen etwas hart, auf Wunsch wird Auflage bereit gestellt. Geschirr etwas begrenzt, außer Kochplatten und Kühlschrank (Selbstversorgung!) keine Gerätschaften in der Küche. Wunsch nach Frühstücksgebäck (kostet extra) an der Rezeption bekannt geben, dieses wird am Folgetag an der Tür abgelegt. Aussicht herrlich, jedoch abends relativ hoher Lärmpegel durch Veranstaltungen im Ort und andere Kurgäste (Sommer). Großes Plus: unterirdischer Zugang zur Alpentherme Gastein (Eintritt für Hotelgäste gratis)!
Preislich günstig. Für Kurzurlaub empfehlenswert.
Nachtrag: Seit mitte 2018 renoviert und sehr schöne Ausstattung der Küche. Jetzt auch Mikrowelle und Geschirrspüler (!) vorhanden. Bedienungsanleitung der Geräte auf jedem Zimmer. Alles sehr gemütlich, Betten bequem.

Very cozy, nice facilities. Mattresses a bit hard, on request, an edition will be provided. Crockery somewhat limited, except for hot plates and refrigerator (self-catering!) No equipment in the kitchen. Request breakfast biscuits (costs extra) at the reception desk, they will be deposited at the door the following day. Wonderful view, but in the evening relatively high noise level due to events in town and other spa guests (summer). Big plus: underground access to the Alpentherme Gastein (free entry for hotel guests)!
Inexpensive. Recommended for short breaks.
Addendum: renovated since mid-2018 and very nice kitchen equipment. Now microwave and dishwasher (!) Available. Operating instructions of the devices in every room. Everything very cozy, beds comfortable.
