★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very big selection of teas, which are, compared to other teashops slightly more pricey, but if you don't mind that between most teas costing ~5€/100g there are some that go for about 12€/100g, you will find no problem with this shop. Personally I have chosen the cheaper teas when I was there and have been very happy with the quality. The personnel does not start telling you all too much about the tea by themselves, but once you start asking they are actually quite knowledgeable. Also, you should be quite accustomed not to find shopkeepers and waiters to be all to polite when you are in Vienna, and personally I value the knowledge I am given here more than the friendliness from someone who can't tell me anything about their products.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've entered this store during my visit in Vienna because I wanted to buy some tasty tea from Teegschwendner. I was surprised by the entrance area which had some liquors and quite a variety of malt scotch whisky brands. Moving towards the back of the store you can find the tea area in which you can also buy nice accessories.
The seller in this area was very helpful and friendly, he spoke good English and after I've purchases a couple of teas he also gave me a free sample of another one.
Next time I visit Vienna I'll come back here and buy some tee again!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great tea shop, 100% recomended for tea lovers. We bought 4 types of white tea, and they had even more.
In the past I bought some tea as a gift, and it was verry well recieved.
Sadly, because of corona there is no smelling the tea :(

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Perhaps my favourite tea shop in Vienna :) I've probably made monthly or at least bimonthly visits to the shop to top up on tea since discovering it. The staff's really friendly and they've made excellent recommendations. Some of the teas are on the pricey side but, in my opinion, it's worth the cost. The green tea from South Korea for example rivals some of the best full leaf green teas I've had from Ippodo or Tsujiri (my go-to brands in Kyoto).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ended up here for a spirit tasting with a group of colleagues that were visiting Waves Vienna Showcase and Conference in September, 21.
Enjoyed a great selection of in-store specialties - local gin and Earl Grey liquor. Took home fantastic black tea mixes and a bottle of well, mezcal.
This little store will surprise you. Looking forward to going back there again.
