★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We went to the Oak after a hike in the mountains around Vienna to grab something to eat. Surprisingly for us the food is fresh and really cooked not just fried and frozen food warmed in the oven. You really receive a nice meal. E.g. the tomato sauce came from fresh tomatoes and was hand made and not from the can. Of course the beer is great too ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place in general, but unfortunately they have removed the Halloumi Wrap from their take-away menu, which was one of the best foods in the world. (and they increased the prices, which is also sad)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Back to the Oak for a second evening meal and we had the Lamb Shank and burger. Both were fantastic and really tasty. Staff were also really friendly. Pricing is also reasonable for Vienna. Worth a visit if you are in the area and like good food.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of *THE* best burgers I have ever had the pleasure of eating.
Proper medium cooked patty full of tender beef, serious real cheese ontop and actually crispy bacon!! Great bun, not this brioche trend, aswell as the skin on chips which where cooked and salted to perfection.
And don't get me started on the sticky toffee pudding, should have ordered two!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Everything about this Irish pub was spot on. Nice beer and attentive staff. I had the ribs which just fell off the bone. Best I had in Vienna. The photo doesn't do it justice. So soft and succulent. I'd be back tomorrow if I could.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is one of the best pubs if you are looking for excellent food and a great selection of beers. It is very traditional and the waiter is top. We always have the salmon sandwich which is delicious. Also the chicken sandwich is great. All in all highly recommend able because the food is tasty and of high quality. We are looking for coming again soon.
