Der Barkeeper beweist seit Jahren, dass es auch am Land möglich ist, Premiumqualität zu bieten. Dementsprechend spielt er in der Champions-League seiner Zunft und wird alljährlich ausgezeichnet, zum Beispiel wird sein Lokal im Falstaff "Bar- and Spiritsguide" als eine der besten Bars Österreichs geführt. Bei Gerald Straus bewahrheitet sich die alte Binsenweisheit "Was man gern macht, macht man gut." Es ist eine Freude, ihm bei der Zubereitung seiner Cocktails auf die Finger zu schauen, weil man bei jedem Handgriff seine Professionalität und Leidenschaft für sein Handwerk erkennt - dementsprechend gut schmeckt dann auch das Ergebnis. Es macht auch Freude, mit ihm über seine Drinks zu plaudern, wobei sein enormes Fachwissen beeindruckt. Das Lokal befindet sich in einem der schönsten historischen Innenstadt-Häuser, und die Bar vermittelt mit ihrer Mischung aus alten Gewölbedecken, geschickter Beleuchtungstechnik und Kerzenschein eine angenehme Wohlfühl-Atmosphäre. W	Walter Tichawa on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolut in Ordnung. Leider waren wir zur später Stunde in diesem Lokal und so ziemlich die einzigen Gäste, daher nicht wirklich tolle Stimmung. Aber die Location war ok, die Bedienug war freundlich und bemüht, das Bier ausgezeichnet und wir haben uns trotzdem wohl gefühlt. Alles gut! ? Absolutely OK. Unfortunately we were in this restaurant late at night and pretty much the only guests, so the atmosphere wasn't really great. But the location was ok, the service was friendly and hard-working, the beer was excellent and we still felt comfortable. It's all OK! ?

Aber wenn der Besitzer einem den Abend verdirbt, ist selbst ein Stern zuviel. Update nach Rückmeldung des Besitzers: er hat mir folgende Symbole gesendet (wohlgemerkt über fb-Messenger): ?? Davon gibt es Screenshots, die ich leider hier nicht hochladen kann. Das sagt wohl alles. Abgesehen davon, hat der Herr Besitzer wohl die psychologischen Probleme, die er anderen (wie zB ua auch mir) Personen andichtet, wohl selbst, sonst müsste er nicht zu Emojis greifen, die derart übergriffig sind. Überdies, hab ich 2021 ca. 1500 EUR bei euch fallen lassen. Wenn der Herr Besitzer nicht glaubt, sollte er vielleicht den bunten Leiwanden fragen ? Patzige Antworten sind wohl Standard, der alles Vorherige bestätigt. ? Nice place in itself. The staff is great. If it weren't for the arrogant boss, it would be worth four stars. Apart from that, the owner probably has the psychological problems that he ascribes to other people (such as me, for example) himself, otherwise he would not have to resort to emojis that are so aggressive. In addition, I dropped around 1500 EUR with you in 2021. If the owner doesn't believe, maybe he should ask the colorful canvas ? Bad answers are probably the standard that confirms all of the above. ?
