Man darf tagsüber mit dem PKW diese Straße nicht befahren, so dass man entweder wandert oder auf öffentliche Verkehrsmittel ausweicht. Leider nur etwas schneller als Schrittgeschwindigkeit, aber mit dem Auto darf man ab dem späten Vormittag nicht zum Vilsalpsee fahren. Die Fahrt kostet für 2 Erw. und 2 Kinder (ab 4J.) 15,- Euro hin und zurück. Gepäck kann in den Wagen oder hinten auf den Zug aufgeladen werden. Der Fahrer des Zuges ist sehr nett und wartet auch auf herbeieilende Fahrgäste. Der Zug fährt mindestens jede Stunde, teilweise auch jede halbe Stunde. Ein Fahrplan hängt aus. Die letzte Fahrt vom Vilsalpsee zurück ging bei uns um 17.00 Uhr. Convenient transport from Tannheim to Vilsalpsee. E	E H on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hier hat man scheinbar noch nichts von Corona gehört. Fahrgäste werden zusammen gequetscht, die sich nicht kennen. Wir (ein Paar mit Kleinkind) mussten aufrücken um auf die kleine Sitzbank einen weiteren Fahrgast Platz zu machen. Unglaublich! Kein Abstand! Keine leeren Plätze. Der Fahrer hat keinen Mundschutz auf. Wobei die Gäste ALLE einen tragen. Im nachhinein hätten wir aussteigen sollen und unser Geld zurück verlangen sollen. Nie wieder. Würde lieber mit dem Bus fahren oder zu Fuß laufen. Apparently you haven't heard of Corona here. Passengers who don't know each other are squeezed together. Vielmehr handelt es sich um ein kleines gemütliches Bummelzüglein das zwischen Tannheim und dem Vilsalpsee verkehrt. Für Jung und Alt gleichermaßen empfehlenswert..... The Tannheimer Alpenexpress is not really an extra train. Rather, it is a small, cozy strolling train that runs between Tannheim and the Vilsalpsee. Recommended for young and old alike .....

Wenn man Pech hat erwischt man die Rüttelplatte und wird ordentlich durchgeschaukelt. Auf den harten Plastikbänken wird es auch schön kalt am Hinterteil. Bei einem Hinweis heißt es dann nur es wurde für X Plätze bezahlt also gibt es auch nur X Plätze.
