★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We spent wonderful five days in Gasthof Taferne. Rooms were comfortable, halfboard was fine, sauna was nice. Frau Schmidt arranged an exiting night tour to a nearby old farmhouse and told interesting stories of town's history (+"Glühwein"). There are treated ski slopes within 5-20 minutes.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The hotel was super easy to find and right by the main road with plenty of parking space. We stayed one night during the Ski World Cup in Schladming and it was perfect. Even though the hotel was full, it didn't feel like it. The bus to the Event stopped in front of the hotel entrance - super convenient and well organized. The restaurant wasn't too special but we still ate well and the breakfast was nice with soft boiled eggs. Should be a good option also for more days enjoy the ski slopes.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great family hotel, very friendly service. The rooms are comfortable, most of them with a nice view and balcony. Sauna included in the price. The chef is great, dinner is delicious and filling, with new takes on regional dishes.
