★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Startpunt voor een schitterende wandeling met uitzicht op de stuwmeren in het gebied. In het begin even klimmen maar zitjes genoeg. Op driekwart van de route een leuke stop bij de Verbellaalpe. Aan het eind met de bus weer terug (32 haarspeldbochten)!
Starting point for a beautiful walk with a view of the reservoirs in the area. In the beginning a little climbing but enough seats. A nice stop at the Verbellaalpe on three-quarters of the route. Back at the end by bus (32 hairpin bends)!

Achtung: der direkte Weg nach Partenen herunter ist sehr steil und bei Nässe sehr rutschig. Nach Gaschurn geht es besser.
Das Lokal ist zu Empfehlen. Leckere Gerichte, gemütlich, schöne Terrasse.
Nice starting point for some hikes.
Attention: the direct way down to Partenen is very steep and very slippery when wet. Things are going better after Gaschurn.
The restaurant is to be recommended. Delicious dishes, cozy, nice terrace.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Die Fahrt ist eigentlich unspektakulär im Vergleich zu den vielen anderen Bahnen in Vorarlberg. Aber die Wanderung zum Wiegensee macht eigentlich alles wieder wett. Auch für Wanderer mit schwächerer Kondition ist dieser Weg zu bewältigen. Allerdings sollte man trittsicher sein und auch - vielleicht mit kurzen Genusspausen - einigermaßen gut die Steigungen über Stock und Stein schaffen.
The ride is actually unspectacular compared to the many other railways in Vorarlberg. But the hike to the Wiegensee actually makes up for everything. This path is also manageable for hikers with less physical fitness. However, you should be sure-footed and - perhaps with short breaks for enjoyment - manage the inclines fairly well over hill and dale.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Kleine Kabinenbahn (nur eine Kabine für hoch und runter ca 15 Personen) Oben kleine bewirtschaftete Alm. Von dort mehrere schöne Weg ua zum Wiegensee. Naturwanderweg (über Stock und Stein). Man kann von dort komplett auf die andere Seite der Hochalpenstrasse wandern und kommt ueber die Verbella Alpe zur Zeinisstausee. Von dort kann man mit dem Bus Linie 260 über die Bielerhöhe ab dort Linie 85 wider zurück fahren.
Small gondola lift (only one cabin for up and down approx. 15 people) Above, a small farmed alpine pasture. From there several beautiful paths, including to the Wiegensee. Nature hiking trail (over hill and dale). From there you can hike completely to the other side of the high alpine road and come over the Verbella Alpe to the Zeinis reservoir. From there you can take bus line 260 via Bielerhöhe, from there line 85 back.
