Das zweiten Grüßen meinerseits wurde durch ein "ja, gleich" erwidert. Das ist keine einmaliges Erlebnis, sondern entspricht in diesem Geschäft der Norm. Die Nähe zur Uni veranlasst mich, sofern es nicht anders geht dort einzukaufen. The saleswoman must first discuss lunch with the colleague before she is willing to serve the customers. The second greeting on my part was replied with a "yes, soon". This is not a one-off experience, but rather the norm in this business. The proximity to the university prompts me to go shopping there, unless I can do otherwise.
