Az Ágoston-rendi kolostort és a kora barokk stílusú, görög kereszt alaprajzú templomot 1655-ben alapította Nádasdy Ferenc. A katolikus templom Pietro Orsolini olasz építész tervei alapján 1656-1663 között épült fel.A főoltár 1656-ban készült, a párkányon Szent István és László magyar királyok szobraival. A barokk Mária-oltár a koronás Máriát, mint Magyarország Nagyasszonyát ábrázolja a koronázási palástbanl. A képmező alsó részén Buda 1686-os ostroma, felette pedig a Nádasdy címer látható. A kriptában van a templomalapító Nádasdy Ferenc országbíró és felesége Esterházy Julianna vörös márvány síremléke. The old church and the Franciscan monastery on the site of today 's building were destroyed in 1532 by the Turkish troops passing through. The Agoston Monastery and the early Baroque Greek cross-shaped church were founded in 1655 by Ferenc Nádasdy. The Catholic Church was built between 1656 and 1663 according to the plans of the Italian architect Pietro Orsolini. The main altar was made in 1656 with the statues of the Hungarian kings of St. Stephen and László. The Baroque Mary altar depicts the crowned Mary as the Great Lady of Hungary in the coronation cloak. At the bottom of the picture field is the siege of Buda in 1686, and the crest of Nádasdy above. The crypt contains the church founder and wife of Ferenc Nádasdy Judge, the red marble tomb of Julianna Esterházy.
