Delicious local food! Eventhough there are no vegan dishes on the menu the chef served me a great vegan meal! Local food and totally fresh! Recommended!

A new favourite? Long time not been there and convinced my family to go. Fantastic experience!! Got there without reservation for lunch. Luckily we.got a cute, little table outside in the garden. Last one available. Waiters fast and very efficient. Drinks came fast and well chilled. Fritattensuppe: clear and rich broth, very good. Lots and lots of Fritatten (and super tender veggies), like it is supposed to be. Perfect! Kürbiscremesuppe: I hate pumpkins. Hate them. Can't even smell them . Hate!! My wife ordered it anyway and had me try it. Oooooooff, what a surprise - pumpkin even better than Fritatten?? My world shook for a moment. Creamy, no: super-creamy! Rich, lots of flavours going on. You still have a subtle pumpkin taste, obviously. But so good, that I couldn't put the spoon down. Wiener Schnitzel: Wondering, why the kids do t talk or fight anymore at the table.... I had a try from their plates. Dios mio, what a delight. Perfected crust, 100% to the point of maximum taste, crunchy brown. The pork thinly cut and hammered. So soft and juicy, that it almost melts in your mouth. The amount? The plate actually held two of them! Plenty for a meat lover, or two kids and my wife. New reverence for pork Schnitzel in this area. Haven't found any better lately. Bravo! Came with golden brown, crunchy fries and a delicious salad. Shame on McDonald's and alike! THIS is how to fry fries and how to salad salad. The fish plate: Presentation, fist class. Amount? Plenty! Taste? Out of this world! After my first bite, I had to put my fork down and almost said another prayer. Instantly had my wife tasting it and she confirmed right away. Best fish in ... the country?? Seriously i have never had better fish than this. Or maybe, but I forgot over a long time. But this dish is worth driving for a long distance, I promise. 3 kinds of fish - perfectly seasoned and prepared to perfection. Unbelievable taste explosion in your mouth. There is so much going on. Get prepared for a rollercoaster in your mouth. So tender and juicy, that it makes my own cooking skills stand in a very dark corner. This plate rates like heaven. Or if we all go to heaven one day, I want that dish every single day. Even the side were phenomenal. Buttery light potatoes with excellent taste and steamed veggies. Shared the big plate with the kids - who sat still for the moment of eating those treats. What a miracle! That dish alone grants 5 stars, no matter what. Nicely full bellies didn't allow us to dive into their deserts. But they looked promising. Like the elderflower pudding with vanilla ice-cream..... Skip on the coffee though. It's a bit watery and bitter. No clue, how to achieve that combo. There is better coffee in town. But that does not hinder the full 5 star deluxe experience of Schöbinger. Thank you very much for having us there. Compared to other places, this one would deserve a 6th star rating - and teach all the 5 star restaurants a lesson.
