★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wir mussten unsere Hochzeit Corona-bedingt 2x verschieben und bei der zweiten Verschiebung hatte dann leider unser Fotograf für unseren neuen Hochzeitstermin keine Zeit mehr. Aber wir hatten Glück im Unglück - durch Zufall bin ich auf Surfin Birds gestoßen und fand die Fotos auf der Website gleich super schön. Der erste Kontakt war schnell hergestellt und da wir mitten in der Corona-Hochphase waren, haben wir ganz unkompliziert mit Betti einen Videotelefonie-Termin bekommen. Die ganze Organisation und Kommunikation vor der Hochzeit war schnell, unkompliziert und gut strukturiert. Betti war für uns auch immer telefonisch schnell erreichbar. Der Tag selbst war dann super entspannt - wir haben oft gar nicht mitbekommen, dass Betti Fotos macht und daher haben wir super schöne Schnappschüsse, die den Spaß und die Freude der Gäste und von uns super wiedergeben!
Betti ist so sympathisch und freundlich (auch unsere Gäste haben uns immer wieder gefragt, ob wir Betti schon vorher kannten - weil es einfach so harmonisch zwischen uns wirkte). Die Fotos bekommt man erstens super schnell und zweitens sind die Fotos wirklich alle perfekt! Wir wollten so viel Zeit wie möglich mit unseren Gästen verbringen und daher haben wir nur 30min vor dem Essen Paarfotos gemacht - aber wir haben eine Riesenauswahl an Fotos: sehr unterschiedlich und alle schön! Und Betti hatte immer perfekt im Blick wann das perfekte Wetter für Fotos ist (5min nach dem Ende unseres Shootings hat es zu regnen begonnen - besser kann man es ja gar nicht timen!) Wir würden Surfin Birds sofort wieder buchen und auch jedem weiterempfehlen!
 We had to postpone our wedding twice due to the corona and with the second postponement our photographer had no more time for our new wedding date. But we were lucky - I came across Surfin Birds by chance and found the photos on the website to be super beautiful. The first contact was made quickly and since we were in the middle of the corona peak, we got a video call appointment with Betti very easily. The whole organization and communication before the wedding was quick, uncomplicated and well structured. Betti could always be reached quickly by phone. The day itself was super relaxed - we often didn't even notice that Betti was taking photos and therefore we have super nice snapshots that reflect the fun and joy of the guests and us!
Betti is so personable and friendly (our guests also kept asking us whether we had known Betti before - because it just seemed so harmonious between us). First of all, you get the photos super fast and secondly, the photos are really all perfect! We wanted to spend as much time as possible with our guests, so we only took couple photos 30 minutes before dinner - but we have a huge selection of photos: very different and all beautiful! And Betti always had a perfect view of when the weather was perfect for photos (5 minutes after the end of our shoot it started raining - you couldn't time it better!) We would book Surfin Birds again immediately and recommend it to everyone!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wir haben Surfin Birds für unsere Hochzeit gebucht nachdem uns die Hochzeitsfotos von Freunden so gut gefallen hatten: Wunderschön, ohne kitschig zu sein, und ganz natürlich. Das waren alles Aspekte, die wir bei der Durchsicht von vielen anderen Hochzeitsfotografen vermisst hatten. Damit haben wir einen Volltreffer gelandet: das Team ist so freundlich und locker, und die Fotos sind wirklich großartig - wir können gar nicht aufhören, sie anzuschauen. Fotografiert wurden wir von David, der immer geduldig und fröhlich war. Damit macht ein Shooting Spaß, auch, wenn man sonst gar nicht gern fotografiert wird. Ganz klare Weiterempfehlung!
We booked Surfin Birds for our wedding after we loved friends' wedding photos: beautiful without being cheesy, and all natural. These were all aspects that we had missed when reviewing many other wedding photographers. We hit the bull's eye: the team is so friendly and easy-going, and the photos are really great - we can't stop looking at them. We were photographed by David, who was always patient and cheerful. This makes a shoot fun, even if you don't normally like to be photographed. Very clear recommendation!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Vom ersten Telefonat bis zu den endgültigen Hochzeitsfotos - bei Surfin Birds hat einfach alles gestimmt! Betti ist sehr professionell, nimmt sich viel Zeit, hat super Ideen und setzt diese perfekt um! :) Die Bilder sind top, insbesondere die Outdoorbilder, und das trotz widriger Wetterbedingungen. Wir können Surfin Birds wärmstens empfehlen!
From the first phone call to the final wedding photos - everything was just right at Surfin Birds! Betti is very professional, takes a lot of time, has great ideas and implements them perfectly! :) The pictures are great, especially the outdoor pictures, and that despite adverse weather conditions. We highly recommend Surfin Birds!

While we compared a few different photography/videography offers, Surfin Birds not only stood out for us with their high quality and emotional portfolio of wedding photos and videos, but we particularly felt very comfortable and connected with Betty & Ryan's warm and welcoming personality (even over a virtual meeting!). On our wedding day, both of them worked very well together as a team. During our couple photo session, they made us feel at ease by creating a fun and happy environment, giving us useful instructions and even showing us good poses to do.
