★ ★ ★ ★ ★ All the important things are there, I can vouch that Оливье, селедка под шубой, котлета по-киевски, are what they should be. The best part is it's a bit off the tourist path, not to far, but very quiet. Last but not least, the host is friendly to a fault. All in all, this place is good to get a taste of you haven't or eat something you've been missing for some time ;) PS not a fine dining place, a get down to business place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is some of the best food I have ever had. We had appetizers, borscht, and main dishes. Every single thing was clearly homemade and it was all delicious. I highly recommend!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not the best example of russian cuisine. It is more like georgian food, but in that case wrongly interpreted. Well, if one, unfamiliar with real russian cuisine, still can try, the others stay away, otherwise you'd be disappointed. The atmosphere is horrible, reminding the years of late soviet depression, and the service very, very far from exemplary. Probably one of the very few restaurants in Vienna, I won't visit again, ever.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Classic and traditional Russian food made with love. This is the cafe version and quite sparcely decorated with perhaps 10 to 15 seats to don't expect too much more that the basics when it comes to the dining environment.
Good beer and good food.
