L	Lai Hoa on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We came here on a Saturday. The venue is so lovely. The staff is friendly and well-mannered. But our food was not such a pleasant surprise like we expected from the reputation. I ordered a Squid Risotto, it was too salty. I hardly finished half of it. And it costs 24euros. My bf ordered the most expensive dish in the menu, grilled beef with mushroom and potato. It was only okay because even though it is soft, the meat was not even warm, just barely lukewarm. It costs 27euros. All together the food did not meet our expectation at all. Kind of a bummer.

The place was a bit pricey, but with such a service and quality of ingredients I thought it was worth it. I had a nice big plate of tuna. Around 1h after eating at this place my face was burning red, and my heart was pumping. Over the last two hours I have severe attack of diarrhea along with headache. I think that I was poisoned at this place. Based on my symptoms what I have is a case of Scombrotoxic or histamine fish poisoning. Scombroid syndrome, named after a class of large, dark-meat fishes including tuna, occurs when raw fish is improperly handled or stored. The meat of the fish has a naturally occurring compound that, when broken down in response to prolonged air exposure and room temperature, turns into histamine. And to be honest I really liked the place. Next time will go just for a drink. No more tuna for me.

I was a bit dissapointed with my potion size I spent ~30€ for my lunch on a hot summer day where appetites are not so high and still would have wanted more. Luckily my 4 tables mates did have the opposite problem and I left full. Probably the dish was small or that severing. I had the impression the place is well visited and cant imagine this to be a regular occurrence. The dishes tasted good.

It had a lot of vinegar on the lentils, so if you don't like vinegar then be warned. They have a nice selection of healthy teas and the environment is very warm and cozy with good service! They also have delicious bread.

Exquisite entries and wide range of typical and more unusual dishes. Look at their menue ! I had a short grilled tuna entry with rucola and mangoes. Delicious ! Baerlauch spinach risotto also great, etc. Good selection of wines. Very attentive service. And not far from Vienna. Nothing else you need for a unforgetable eating out.
