Groß und mächtig thront das Stift Reichersberg über dem Inn. Arkadengänge und zwiebelgekrönte Erker säumen die barocke Anlage, die sich um zwei Höfe gruppiert. Hausherren sind die Augustiner Chorherren, die seit mehr als 900 Jahren hier leben und wirken. Neben ihrer seelsorgerischen Tätigkeit räumen sie auch der Kultur viel Platz ein. Jahr für Jahr lockt der „Reichersberger Sommer“ mit festlichen Gottesdiensten, Ausstellungen, Lesungen, Kabarett und Jazz. Jeden Mittwoch und Sonntag um 15 Uhr werden Führungen durch das Stift angeboten, Besichtigungen für Gruppen gibt es gegen Voranmeldung. Und im Anschluss kann man im Klosterladen und in der Vinothek gemütlich gustieren und einkaufen. "Live with joy" is the motto of the Reichersberg Abbey. S. on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Das Stift Reichersberg ist eine tolle Klosteranlage mit Kirche und Restaurant.Es ist alles sehr gepflegt.Es gibt einen Verkaufsladen.Im Franzl's Stift Restaurant kann man gut Speisen und hat tolle Aussicht auf den Inn.Die Kirche ist auch sehr schön von innen. Nicht vergessen, neben dem Stift den kleinen sehr gut gepflegten Garten anzusehen. Eintritt ist kostenfrei und der Garten mit seinen schattigen Baumwegen lädt zum niedersetzen und Ruhe tanken ein. Beautiful and strong place. Alone the entrance and view into the large courtyard with arcades is sun for the soul. Do not forget to look at the small well-maintained garden next to the monastery. Admission is free of charge and the garden with its shady tree trails invites you to sit down and take a rest.
