Definitely worth seeing! Definitely take a tour - and a big compliment to the nice employee who made the tour very lively.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Monastero agostiniano nel cuore della Stiria con una splendida chiesa barocca, dove altare maggiore e pulpito sono capolavori di scultura lignea. Grazie alla visita guidata in inglese, abbiamo potuto visitare anche la suggestiva sagrestia con l' intero soffitto affrescato nel '700 con Il Paradiso ed una delle pareti in cui è raffigurato l'inferno. Peccato solo che fosse chiusa per restauri la biblioteca, che deve essere un altro dei pezzi forti del monastero.
Augustinian monastery in the heart of Styria with a splendid baroque church, where a high altar and pulpit are masterpieces of wooden sculpture. Thanks to the guided tour in English, we were also able to visit the evocative sacristy with the entire ceiling frescoed in the 18th century with Il Paradiso and one of the walls depicting hell. Just a shame that the library was closed for restoration, which must be another highlight of the monastery.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sehenswerte barocke Stiftsanlage...stimmungsvoller Innenhof und prunkvolle barocke Stiftskirche...Führung unbedingt empfehlenswert...toll die Bibliothek (wird dzt. renoviert) und die Sakristei mit den Fresken von Johann Cyriak Hackhofer...insbes. Höllensturz und Jesus auf dem Regenbogen.
Interessant auch die Stiftsführung der besonderen Art durch den Probst persönlich.
Baroque pin system worth seeing ... atmospheric courtyard and magnificent baroque collegiate church ... Guidance is highly recommended ... great the library (is currently being renovated) and the sacristy with frescoes by Johann Cyriak Hackhofer ... esp. Hell fall and Jesus on the rainbow.
Interesting also the pin guidance of the special kind by the Probst personally.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Unbedingt die Führung mitmachen. Wird vom Stiftportier alles super erklärt. Bibliothek und der Altar sind echte Prunkstücke. Hab sowas schönes noch nie gesehen. Danke
Be sure to take the tour. Everything is perfectly explained by the pen porter. The library and the altar are real showpieces. I've never seen anything so beautiful. thanks
