Not very well known, but absolutely worth seeing. If you are visiting Inn and Salzach and are interested in art, you should definitely plan a visit to the monastery church of Ranshofen.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Die Pfarrkirche Ranshofen zum Heiligen Pankratius wurde im Jahre 1508 als 4. Kirchenbau auf dem heutigen Standpunkt begonnen. Zuvor standen 2 Kapellen und die Pfarrkirche St. Michael. Diese wurde 1120 erbaut. Die heutige Kirche wurde 1520 vollends fertigerstellt. Auf die alte Pfarrkirche St Michael zurück zu kommen, diese wurde 1785 für die Öffentlichkeit wegen sicherheitsaspekten gesperrt und 1799 abgerissen. Nach aufwendigen Renovierungsarbeiten steht die heute in einen besonders schönen Glanz für die Kirchengemeinde zu Verfügung. Wenn man in der Nähe von Ranshofen ist, unbedingt besuchen.
The parish church Ranshofen to the Holy Pankratius was begun in 1508 as 4th church building on the today's point of view. Previously stood 2 chapels and the parish church of St. Michael. This was built in 1120. The present church was completed in 1520. To come back to the old parish church of St Michael, this was closed in 1785 for the public because of security aspects and demolished in 1799. After extensive renovations, today is available in a particularly beautiful glow for the church. If you are near Ranshofen, be sure to visit.
