★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wir sind aufgrund des Eintrages in GoogleMaps zu diesem Steinmetzmuseum gefahren. Nach der Besichtigung von St. Margarethen war unser Interesse geweckt. Zuerst einmal standen wir vor verschlossenen Türen, allerdings mit dem Verweis auf eine anzurufende Telefonnummer. Und tatsächlich kam jemand um uns die Ausstellung aufzuschließen. Hierfür schon einmal herzlichen Dank. Es ist eine kleine Ausstellung zum Steinbruch und der lokalen Vergangenheit. Schön zusammengetragen und präsentiert, offenbar das Ergebnis der Arbeit eines Vereins. ?
Wenn man in der Gegend ist lohnt sich der Weg durchaus, zumal in der direkten Nachbarschaft eine schöne kleine Kirche ist.
We went to this stonemason's museum because of the entry in GoogleMaps. After visiting St. Margarethen, our interest was aroused. First of all, we stood in front of closed doors, but with the reference to a phone number to call. And somebody actually came to unlock the exhibition for us. Thank you very much for that. It is a small exhibition about the quarry and the local past. Beautifully compiled and presented, apparently the result of the work of an association. ?
If you are in the area, the path is well worth it, especially as there is a nice little church in the immediate vicinity.
