★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The mackerel was amazing. Don't get scared by the appearance (this isn't Micheline 3* restaurant) - go for the delicious food and enjoy eating in the nature. Places to sit also in bad weather. They accept cards.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Visited last November and really liked the grilled fish. Revisit again in early Feb for the saibling. The skin is perfectly smelt with nice hint of smoky charr. Meat of fish is fresh and fine, not rough and pinkish in colour under natural lighting. Sides can be added on i like the grilled corn as the sweetness of corn complements with the savoury flavour of the fish. Shop close earlier in winter at 7pm (9pm in summer). HIGHLY recommend if you are in the Wolfgangsee area- we drove 50mins from Traunsee for this! The ambience is not restaurant standard but the price performance ratio is perfect. The best grilled fish in this area.
