Wow what a hike. A real experience. Is really recommended if you are good on foot. Strict but very rewarding.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Vom Parkplatz Schuttannen in ca 1 Stunde zu erreichen wenn man etwas Kondition hat. Der Weg anfangs breit und flach, geht dann aber schnell in Treppen, Steinstufen und Geröll über (roter Weg). Es gibt noch einen zweiten Weg (für geübte), hierfür muss man schwindelfrei sein. Die Aussicht einfach klasse. Am Wochenende kann es auf der Spitze schon mal voll werden.
Reachable from the Schuttannen car park in about 1 hour if you are in a bit of fitness. The path is initially wide and flat, but then quickly turns into stairs, stone steps and scree (red path). There is a second way (for the experienced), for this you have to be free from giddiness. The view is just great. At the weekend it can get crowded at the top.

Unfortunately, the summit turned out to be foggy, so I didn't see much.
I picked the descent in the direction of Staufenalpe (restaurant). Getting back down was a serious chore. The way is poorly marked and I got lost a few times. It is also very steep and can be very slippery.
